The Top 10 Nintendo 3DS Games For 2015 – Part II

In “The Top 10 Nintendo 3DS Games For 2015 – Part I”, we looked at the top four titles to watch out for in 2015. Here are the others making up the list of the top ten games on Nintendo 3DS.

Retro City Rampage DX

Whether it is the retro style game play or the inspiration from GTA, the self conscious lampooning or the tongue in cheek humor, Retro City Rampage DX is an addictive action game. Very few action games manage to strike a generous dose of humor and thrill. This one is clearly in that elite league. The latest DX edition adds more punch to the already thriving franchise.

Shovel Knight

In this era of 3D hoopla, it is rare that an otherwise normal 2D game manages to capture the fancy of many. Nintendo itself had gone wrong with its earlier 3DS handheld console which it is trying to fix with the new 3DS in 2015. Even when the 3D experience is getting better, there is no denying that the mystical land and the adventures of Shovel Knight to counter the rise of Order of No Quarter appeal to many.

Steel Diver: Sub Wars

There aren’t many free games today, not ones that would really intrigue you. When Nintendo came up with free editions and a few titles did not ask for money a lot was at stake and people did predict that Nintendo might head south with its plan of action. As Steel Diver has proved, a good game will always find its takers. Underwater combat that too being played online was the secret to the success of Steel Diver and Sub Wars is just going to make gaming so much better on the new 3DS. Steel Diver also comes in with an option to play with premium subs which obvious cost some money.

Tomodachi Life

Kids love to emulate what their elders do. If soap operas were a favorite of their parents, the kids would love to create their own virtual world of friendships, relationships and do all kinds of social and real world tasks, from dining to getting married. Tomadachi Life will not appeal to all but to its target audience it would be a bestseller.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

Super Smash Bros makes a spectacular case of how a game’s popularity is not confined to the types of consoles they are played on. The portable version of Super Smash Bros is just as popular as the erstwhile ones.

Fantasy Life

The top-ten list is coolly wrapped up with Fantasy Life, a fantasy RPG that offers real variety.
